Ekiden Run

Annual International Ekiden Run held today by International Youth Centre Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with the Himpunan Belia.

I'm involved in Women Junior category,in a group of five. And I'm the last runner. Everybody gets to run 3k, quite short huh, can be consider as a sprint. As stated I'm the last runner, WE, as in Weili, Joyce and etc waited for almost two hours without shade. Smart enough of us to bring caps and towels along. And we wait wait wait wait wait. Texting with Jing Fei all the while. 

When the first person of our category arrived, everybody was getting anxious already! I was looking for Shannen with her cap. Screening everyone. And suddenly WeiLi goes like Hey It's Shannen! Well the girl do look like Shannen with a green house Tee and long pants..... but where's her cap? And so I was there thinking Hmmmmmmm, then Joyce asked isn't Shannen having short hair and we are like, Yea hor. That is so....lame. Weili being her best friend, Aiyoyoyo.

And Shannen came, And I ran, non-stop. Sprint for the last 600m just to win over another girl. And We got 58th pacing overall where there are 200 groups or more in the category I'm joining. The run took me less than 30minutes, I didnt really time it.

No idea whether can I still train, or shall I just swim instead?

I think I practically flunk my midterms, like seriously.

One thing I don't get it is,
You see our midterms are papers from the Jabatan right, so some of em' have some tips on what will be out and some even have the question papers. And I don't get it why do they still need to hardcore like mad like those who do not have any freakish idea about what's coming out, except for the syllabus. And the thing is, I expect them to score better in grades than those who did not and it turn out that, they didn't really pass with flying colours. Explanation, anyone?

And in the Malay language paper for the Tatabahasa section, I got the idiom wrong because of one word, Kerana. That is so impressive, 2 marks gone.


Anyway, going to work out for an hour to de-stress myself, or whatever you call that. Bye

Midterms till an end

在阳光中我学会欢笑，
在阴阳中我学会坚强;
在狂风中我学会抓住希望，
在暴雨中我学会抓住理想。

We ended our Midterms with Chinese paper one, and it was WAY better than Chinese paper two I could say. And I wrote part of that in my essay.

And the attitude again, gahhh. Just couldn't tolerate. Pfft, stop it.

Betty's Midwest Kitchen, a mouth watering dish to savour.

So it's Mother's Day! After a wonderful service at church, my family intend to try out something unusual aka new. So, we drove ourselves to the Tropicana area. Hmm, the shop only opens at 11.30 but we're already there at 11! That is freakish early. So my mum drove us around and show us some of the houses here. They are mostly gated and guarded. The designs are quite nice, and some even have pools of their own! Dream house of mine.......ahhhhhhhh And, some even have golf club house right behind their houses. So impressive right....

Okay over to the restaurant. Betty Midwest Kitchen, American on a plate.

As the name reveals, is dedicated to offering food as traditionally prepared and eaten by the people of the American heartland. They offer a range of the best of the Midwest cuisine, from light foods and soups to hearty meals.

I enjoy the mozzarella cheese stick and the "pig in the blanket" most! It is something unusual yet very mouth watering. Ahhhhh and the coleslaw is very unique, added onion to it! Mmmmmmm

Two words,

SIBEH NICE!

And, I did pretty much nth for this two days. Except of more TVs and computers and eating and yeah. That makes me me feel sort of guilty cause I've been seeing people posting photos of them doing their revision. Oh gosh.

First week down, one a half more to go.

And,

I'm actually quite disappointed with it. 

Especially The Malay Language. I trusted my Instinct more than my knowledge. I chose to change the unusual part of the sentence rather the one I KNEW the answer was right; One would say how stupid will I be, for trying to achieve something outstanding huh. I thought I would get the full score for this section, yet again and again, I trusted my instincts. And the last section, I fail to give an answer, sigh. Not to mention Paper 1, struggling on which topic to choose, which cost me about 10 minutes of precious time wasted. And again, my instincts won. And after it, everybody was discussing about the issues one the one I KNEW was right, but I chose another topic instead. This is it... and sigh. Nothing can really help now.

And also, the History Paper which I sat today. SIGH

And my classmates attitude, 

You know, sometimes I get really pissed off with their snobbish  attitude. Like, are you trying to boast or what? Get out of my way dude, I'm not interested in any single freakish leaked questions or answers from your Idk whosoever gave you. Like, not interested at ALL. 

And something sad to report, my Tri-training class is off till further notice. And I'm really upset about that cause I really want to train more and more, build more and more and experience more and more. Sad to say, everything has to come to and end. I need to search for new swimming programmes already.

I'll miss S&M. 

I need to get some things done first, 

and in advanced, Happy Mothers Day to all mothers.

Cherish your mother each and everyday, though they might be quite nagging and fussy some times. (Like my mum)
